Impact Coatings har erhållit en order på ett INLINECOATER™-system från HELLA MINTH Jiaxing Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (Kina), ett joint venture mellan HELLA Group (Tyskland) och MINTH Group (Kina). Den avsedda applikationen är radomer (radaremblem) som används för säkerhetssystem till fordon. Ordervärdet är 740 000 EUR och leveransen är planerad till tredje kvartalet 2021.

HELLA MINTH startade sin verksamhet 2020 för att utveckla, producera och marknadsföra radomer och lysande emblem. Det gemensamägda bolaget, som finansieras av båda partnerna i lika delar, har en produktionsanläggning i Jiaxing och ska ha en internationell inriktning, men med en inledande fokusering på den kinesiska marknaden, enligt ett pressmeddelande från HELLA Group i juni 2020.

För export från EU krävs exportlicens för varor som svenska Inspektionen för strategiska produkter (ISP) kvalificerar som produkter med dubbla användningsområden. Impact Coatings bedömer att ordern kan kräva en sådan licens och ska följaktligen lämna in en ansökan till ISP. Systemordern gäller därför under förutsättning att eventuell erforderlig exportlicens erhålles.

HELLA MINTH BESTÄLLER BELÄGGNINGSSYSTEM FÖR RADOMER FRÅN IMPACT COATINGS

Impact Coatings has received an order for an INLINECOATER™ system from HELLA MINTH Jiaxing Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (China), a joint venture between HELLA Group (Germany) and MINTH Group (China). The intended application area is radomes (radar emblems) used for automotive safety systems. The order value is EUR 740,000 and delivery is planned for the third quarter of 2021.

HELLA MINTH started operations in 2020, to promote the development, production and marketing of radomes and illuminated logos. The joint venture, funded by both partners in equal shares with a production facility in Jiaxing, shall have an international scope, with an initial focus on the Chinese market, according to a press release from HELLA Group in June 2020.

A license for export outside the EU is required from the Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP) if a product is classified as a dual-use item. As the assessment of Impact Coatings is that the order may require an export license, the company will submit an application to ISP. The system order is therefore valid under the condition that the export license is granted, if required.

The Swedish financial supervisory authority Finansinspektionen (FI) has today published on its website a decision to order Impact Coatings to pay a penalty fee of SEK 1,100,000 for violating provisions in the EU Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) in connection with a press release on September 3, 2018. The company does not concur with FI’s assessment and will appeal the decision.

The annual general meeting (AGM) of May 19, 2017 approved a warrant program for company personnel whose subscription period ended on June 20, 2020. A total of 454,000 warrants were issued. 

In accordance with the program terms and conditions, the final adjusted subscription price was SEK 27.40 per share and the conversion ratio was set to 1.022 new shares per warrant. The warrant parameter adjustments were a result of the rights issue announced on October 31, 2017.

No new shares were subscribed through the warrant program.

På årsstämman den 19 maj 2017 godkändes ett program för teckningsoptioner för bolagets personal vars teckningsperiod slutade den 20 juni 2020. Totalt utfärdades 454 000 teckningsoptioner.

I enlighet med villkoren för programmet blev det slutligt justerade teckningspriset 27,40 SEK per aktie och konverteringsgraden sattes till 1,022 nya aktier per tecknings-option. Parameterjusteringarna var ett resultat av den företrädesemissionen som tillkännagavs den 31 oktober 2017.

IMPACT COATINGS AB - YEAR-END REPORT 2019
Linköpingsföretaget Impact Coatings och Hyundai Motor Company undertecknade idag en avsiktsförklaring (MoU) i Seoul under statsministerns besök. Avsiktsförklaringen främjar ytterligare samarbetet mellan bolagen i utvecklingen av bränslecellsbeläggningar och vätgasteknik.

Sydkorea, Japan, Tyskland och andra industriländer investerar kraftigt i vätgasteknologi, ett komplement till batterier och i många avseende en mer komplett lösning för elektrifiering på global nivå. Vätgas, som omvandlas till elektricitet i bränsleceller, används för transporter, industri, el och värme för hushåll och för en rad andra områden. Både Sverige och Sydkorea har teknikbolag som ligger i framkant inom denna teknikutveckling.

Avsiktsförklaringen, som är icke bindande och saknar definierat ekonomiskt värde, följer på det gemensamma utvecklingsavtal mellan parterna som meddelades den 30 oktober 2019. Avsiktsförklaringen stärker relationen mellan bolagen och har ett viktigt symbolvärde mot bakgrund av de starka diplomatiska och ekonomiska förbindelserna mellan Sydkorea och Sverige, förbindelser som firar 60 år av framsteg under 2019.

Signeringen skedde i samband med att statsminister Stefan Löfven och utrikeshandelsminister Anna Hallberg besöker Seoul tillsamman med en stor delegation från svenskt näringsliv. Hyundai representerades av Young Woon Kong, President för Hyundai Motor Group Strategy Planning Division, och Soon Chan Park, Vice President för Hyundai Motor Fuel Cell Business Group. Från Impact Coatings närvarade styrelseordförande Mark Shay och försäljningschef Will Wright.

MoU signing ceremony in Seoul
Impact Coatings AB of Sweden and Hyundai Motor Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in Seoul during the Swedish Prime Minister’s visit, furthering their cooperation in the development of fuel cell coatings and hydrogen energy technology.

South Korea, Japan, Germany and other industrial nations are investing heavily in hydrogen technology, a complement to batteries, and in many ways a more comprehensive solution for electrification globally. Hydrogen energy is adopted for transportation, industry, stationary heat end power, and for many other areas. Both Sweden and South Korea have technology companies that are in the forefront of this technology development.

The MoU, which is non-binding and has no defined economic value, follows a Joint Development Agreement between Impact Coatings and Hyundai announced on October 30, 2019. The MoU strengthens the relationship between the two companies and holds important symbolic value in light of the strong diplomatic and economic relations between South Korea and Sweden, which celebrate 60 years of progress during 2019.

The signing ceremony took place during the visit to Seoul by the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and the Minister for Foreign Trade Anna Hallberg, together with a large delegation of Swedish business leaders. Hyundai was represented by President Young Woon Kong of Hyundai Motor Group Strategy Planning Division, and Vice President Soon Chan Park of Hyundai Motor Fuel Cell Business Group. Attendees from Impact Coatings were Chairman of the Board Mark Shay and VP of Sales Will Wright.
