After five months of operation, Impact Coatings new facility in Shanghai – Coating Service Center China – has been issued an ISO 9001:2015 certification, an international standard for total quality management systems. Standardizing and streamlining the company's operations guarantees customers the same high quality regardless of region, a key in the company's strategy to establish new Coating Service Centers globally.
Impact Coatings continues to scale up its Coating Service Center operations, first in Sweden and China and in the next step in the USA. Regional presence is key for close cooperation and short delivery routes, not least to customers in the expansive hydrogen industry. The company thereby strengthens its ability to meet customers' needs within fuel cells and electrolysis in important geographic markets.
Standardized production and working methods guarantee that Coating Service Centers in different regions offer the same delivery quality. The standardization also enables streamlined transfer of production between the company's Coating Service Centers. One step to guarantee customers the same high quality regardless of geographic location is that all locations must meet the requirements for ISO 9001:2015.

We have transferred working methods and experiences from Sweden and also suggested improvement, which means that both we and Sweden now can offer even higher quality services to our customers. The certification also demonstrates the great commitment and professionalism of our local team in Shanghai," said Yaowen Wang, Regional President, China.
In parallel, planning for Impact Coating's new Coating Service Center in Upstate New York, USA, continues. Once the facility is operational, production is expected to fulfill the same requirements as in Sweden and China.
Impact Coatings’ Swedish operations are already certified according to ISO 9001:2015.
