New Headquarters in Sweden 2024

Impact Coatings is expanding, and we are preparing to move to new premises in Linköping, Sweden. The new headquarters will be located adjacent to Linköping University and Linköping Science Park, in close proximity to Linköping’s innovation hotspots. The facility is being built and optimized for our operations and will double our production area. We expect to move in during the second half of 2024.

At Impact Coatings we are entering an expansive phase, underpinned by a rapid global development of green fossil-free hydrogen, where high-performing coating technologies are needed and demanded. Construction of the new headquarters in Linköping takes place at the same time as we have started production in our new Coating Service Center in Shanghai, China, and plan for another Coating Service facility in the USA in 2024.

Doubled Production Area in Sweden

The new Swedish premises, consisting of approximately 3 000 m², will double our production area, resulting in significantly increased capacity for assembly of coating systems, as well as expanded space for our Swedish Coating Service Center.

Our Coating Service Centers are important cornerstones in our complete offering and enable us to fully support customers throughout different process stages – from test and verification of our coating technology, to scaling volume scenarios, continuous production, and handling of peak volumes as a second source. In Sweden, our Coating Service Center will also function as a demo center, where customers can learn more about our complete coating solutions first-hand.

Apart from better capacity to support our customers and continue to grow our business, the new Swedish facility includes new departmental offices and conference rooms, more room for logistics and pre-production such as washing and blasting areas, and an updated lab for the company’s development team.

The facility is being built in close collaboration with Wilzéns Fastighetsförvaltning who will own and manage the property.
